Sweet Escape Cookies needed a full rebrand that moved away from outdated trends and built a playful yet modern identity they could grow with across print, packaging, and social media.

Developed updated brand guidelines covering logo usage, colour palette, and typography, then extended the identity into printed collateral including business cards and custom cookie boxes. Created a consistent social media presence to bring the brand to life digitally, ensuring every touchpoint felt cohesive and on-brand.

A complete brand system across print, packaging, and social media that gave Sweet Escape Cookies a renewed identity, one that finally matched their personality and set them up to show up confidently wherever their customers find them.

CHALLENGE

Sweet Escape Cookies did not have the strongest brand identity prior to the new rebrand. This led the owner of Sweet Escape Cookies to begin to dislike the overall aesthetic including the logo, business card, social media content, and overall brand personality. A major factor in the weak brand identity Sweet Escape Cookies was facing was the fact that the original brand creation was based on design trends that were around during the period of the creation, which has quickly become outdated.

SOLUTION

The process began with an in-depth conversation with the owner to understand the brand's values, personality, and vision. From there, a competitive audit was conducted to identify gaps in the market and find opportunities to differentiate. A key insight was that every competitor used a literal cookie in their logo, which made standing out straightforward. The focus then shifted to building a brand identity that felt personal and unique to Sweet Escape Cookies, with a logo and online presence that reflected who they actually are.
